Consumer Education for Teens--All the information in this site was developed by teens, for teens. It is intended to help teenagers become better educated consumers. Topics such as music clubs, tattoos, car buying, and Internet scams are covered.

Thinkquest (The Educator)--Stock market simulation that I use in my economics classes. It provides stock market basics, and it sets up a nice portfolio for students to read updates on companies they invest in. This stock market game is easy to use.

ADPRIMA--This links to a great article entitled "Effective Study Skills" by Dr. Robert Kizlik. The longer I teach, the more I realize how misunderstood this skill is. A must read for all.

Lycos--An excellent way to search for information and receive detailed reviews of each site. The Lycos 50 Daily Report is a fun read!

HotBot--The webs best-rated search engine. Drop-down menus assist in customizing the search process.

Infoseek--Can take your questions and return searches with your answers. Turn the Go Guardian "on" to filter adult content.

Alta Vista--Comprehensive search site ranks near the top for the number of hits returned.

Yahoo--Good for general-to-specific searches. Sign up to get a personalized start page with news, weather, sports, and search window.

Dogpile--Not as well known as the others but it allows you to specify web metasearch, web catalog, usenet, newscrawler, biz news, or FTP searches.
